We were all waiting for “The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya” to appear on season 2; we were disappointed with the Endless Eight arc, and we were confused since we didn’t know if that arc was still going to be included on this season. Some still had hopes for it, some believed that they were planning another season with it; though the truth turns out to be that they will make a movie.
Yes, “The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya” will be a movie, and it will air on 2010. Kadokawa Animation aired the trailer on it’s Youtube Channel, which I’m, posting right here.
Now, not all the news are Haruhi-related. (WTFux?)
Remember that post I made around March, that rusty post in which I posted all the anime that I was expecting to see in 2009? (this post) Well if you remember it/just saw it, you might noticed that out of the 5 hopes we haven’t seen one yet, actually we hadn’t even heard of it… ’til now.
Yap we finally get news about the Trigun movie. (dun dun dun) Even more surprisingly the movie is planned to be released on Spring 2010! Now we can wait properly for it.
I’m done with the news, but I still feel like writing more to make a bit with the lack of posts (blame school).
The new anime season started last week and I’m taking this chance to post a pair of this season anime that you might want to check out.
11 Eyes
After seeing the first episode of the series I already have high hopes for it. On the very first seconds you’ll be able to see quite a scene… on red highlights. *ahem* the story seems to be centered around Kakeru Satsuki, whose sister committed suicide 7 years before the actual story *COUGHFIRSTSCENECOUGH*. So what happens next? Well that’s a good question because the story hasn’t been completely introduced yet, (gah) but it still promises alot!
Why? Well… red highlights!!! In 3 points of the first episode the whole background is red and black, (being the first seconds one) which makes me get the idea that there will be a very good plot development, and that there will be some nice action scenes around it. I hope to be right!
Letter Bee
Anyone that saw Letter Bee’s OVA released on 2008 already has an idea of what’s going on here, and a bit what will happen. The story is set on Amberground, a land infested with giant mechanical bugs, and where the mail delivery can only be done by the “Letter Bees” who risk themselves accompanied by a “Dingo“, which is a creature that helps them whenever they are attacked by the bugs.
Obviously the bugs are so well armored that they can even deflect bullets, so the only way to fight them is to fire them a piece of your own soul; which is a double edge sword because if you shoot too much you’ll eventually become soulless and you’ll loose your heart, (metaphorically) becoming no more than a flesh doll.
Why am I recommending it? Well I saw the OVA and I kinda have an idea of what will happen, and I’m also looking forward the story, so hoping for the best this anime will be quite interesting.
Okay I think that’s enough for today, go check them and I hope to post again soon!
